Hi! I am Ashley and I am a plant loving card maker. By day, I teach third grade. In my free time you can find me creating a new card design, playing with our fur baby (one recently retired), traveling, spending time with my amazing partner- Jon, and caring for our many plants.

I’ve been making greeting cards for most of my life, and it’s always been more than just a hobby—it’s a passion rooted in connection and creativity. In elementary school, my mom and I would handmake Valentine's cards for everyone in my class. While everyone else had the store-bought cards, each of my classmates received an original piece of artwork made by me. To this day my mom proudly displays many of my cards in her living room, a constant reminder of moments from the past. There’s something special about creating something that others can enjoy and share with the people they care about.

For years, I crafted handmade winter holiday cards for my colleagues at the elementary school where I taught. Their encouragement to start selling my work gave me the confidence to turn this lifelong love into a business. What sprouted was Leaf and Vine Card Design!

What drives me most is the joy of creativity and the timeless beauty of “snail mail”—sending your love, thoughtfulness, and care in a tangible manner that someone can hold, display, and treasure.
